While preparing for a television interview on the Dayton cable-based, Mr. Peevy Show, I learned there is a lot more to the making of a television show than I ever imagined. |

The stage must be just right, the sound must be tested about a thousand times... |

Lights and camera angles must be tested and reset until everything is perfect... |

Finally, all the preparations are done
and it's time to shoot!
Lights, camera . . . wait! Where's Carl? lol |
| The interview went real well . . . it
was completed in a single take. Fortunately, I was second in line
to get taped for the show, and I noticed how hot the man before me was
while in front of all those lights. He had to redo his part of the
segment a second time, and the sweat was running down his face like a
river. I made my mind up right then and there that the "Fleet
of Angels" interview was going to be accomplished in a single
take! MAN, where those lights hot!
Thanks, Ardella! You taught me what it takes to make it in television, and for that I will always be grateful. In my opinion, you're the best teacher in Dayton! |
