My Eleventh Official Book Signing - Store Front
This is Gilbert.  He was waiting around for a copy of Fleet of Angels before the book signing even started.  He said he was going to give it to his wife, Dagnija, but I have to wonder if he really just didn't buy it for himself...
Leighanne watched me closely as I signed her copy.  I believe she just didn't trust me to spell her name correctly.
Break Time

Suddenly, we went dead.  Not a single book was sold for nearly an hour.  So, with a little time on my hands, I decided to take some pictures for a change...

 Meet the Crew

Like I said, the store went dead, so Larry and his wife, along with my wife, Min, decided to lounge around a little on the couch right across from the store.

"Oh, my gosh!   Did I hear a customer?"

(I think the guy watching the baby thought we were all nuts!  LOL!)

This is the store manager, Wanda, along with a couple of her employees in the background.  Without a doubt, all very nice people--just like in every other Waldenbooks store I've ever been in.
"Hey, Carl!  We aren't doing anything anyway...  Can I take this over to the couch and read it?"
Things were really starting to get boring...
Then things started to pick up suddenly.  I don't know why, but it happens like that on occasion.  This is after  Larry and his wife thought we were done for the day and left for home, of course...
Book signing (Part II)

Busy, busy, BUSY!!

Just the way I like it . . . they're lined up at my table.

Now THIS is what book signings are supposed to be like!

Okay.  Maybe it started to get a little TOO busy.  I forgot to take down some of the names again...
This is Nada getting a copy signed.  I believe she may be the truest sci-fi fan I've seen all day.
This is Brian . . . buying a copy for Marcus.
I can't really recall what I put in the front of Sarah's copy of Fleet of Angels, but I DO remember signing it real nice.

Thanks, Wanda!  The signing went well!
