ABE'S TOMB II Casting Call
Carl
Merritt Productions, L.L.C. will be holding an open casting call for the movie,
ABE’S TOMB II on
COMPENSATION:
The
roles to be filled are non-paid roles. Carl
Merritt Productions, L.L.C. does not pay extras, or those with minor roles, and
that’s what the remaining open roles are . . . basically minor roles or else
extras that may not even have lines.
So,
as with the vast majority of non-union films, compensation will be credit, a
copy of the finished movie, food, exposure and a lot of fun.
ABOUT
OUR FIRST MOVIE:
The
first ABE’S TOMB movie was filmed in standard definition and with substandard
equipment in 2006. Still, it won
seven awards out of six film festivals in 2007, including Best Feature, Best
Actress, Best Director and more. Later,
it went on to achieve worldwide distribution – release date: August, 2008.
ABE’S TOMB II will be shot in HD with much better equipment, and is
expected to do even BETTER at film festivals.
Worldwide exposure and distribution for our second movie is nearly
certain, unless, of course, our distributor suddenly decides to go
out-of-business.
ABOUT
THE FILM:
Going
with the distributor’s wishes, ABE’S TOMB II, will be much bloodier than the
original movie. It will also be much
sexier. Whereas ABE’S TOMB I was
filmed with children in mind, ABE’S TOMB II will have adult situations, the
language will be much harsher, and there will be some of the sexiest ladies on
the planet playing the parts of man-hating vampires.
There will be no sex in this movie, nor will there be even partial
nudity.
LOCATIONS:
The
vast majority of the second movie will be filmed within fifty miles of
DATES:
The exact production schedule
is up in the air right now, however, the winter scenes are complete, and main
production is to begin in the
PARTS
NEEDED TO BE FILLED:
National
Guard Soldiers: Five (5) actors needed for these parts, either male or female.
Uniforms, weapons and accessories will be furnished.
Actors/actresses must be well groomed, in shape and able to portray
members of the American military. No
face jewelry, no long hair, no body fat, no facial hair except possibly a
well-trimmed mustache and must be between the ages of 18 – 30.
Uniforms will be provided, so waist size must not exceed 34 in,
preferably less.
Gun
Store Employee: Need one (1) actress for this part.
Age must be between 18 – 25, and must be sexy as hell.
This actress will die in a vicious vampire attack scene.
Gun
Store Customer: Need
one (1) actress for this part. Age
must be between 18 – 25, and must be sexy as hell.
This role has a hidden benefit that will be explained at a later date.
Actress must be able to lay perfectly still (playing dead) while still
maintaining the sexy look for at least one minute.
Drive
Thru Owner: Need one (1) male actor for this part.
Preferable age is over 40, though will consider others if talent merits
consideration.
Drive
Thru Employee: Need one (1) actress for this part.
Age must be between 18 – 25, and must be both innocent-looking and a
drop-dead beautiful girl. This scene
will be of an adult nature, however, no sex and not even partial nudity.
Deranged
Rapist: Need one (1) male actor for this role. The
ultimate “tough guy” needed. Age
can be anything between 18 – 45. In
addition to playing the part of a rapist, this person will also be the victim in
a bloody death scene. An
“evil-looking” appearance a definite plus, and being able to take a hard hit
from a beautiful lady would also be helpful...
Army
Colonel: Male.
You know the type – no nonsense and official.
That’s what we need. Actor
must be well groomed, in shape and able to portray a member of the American
military. No face jewelry, no long
hair, no body fat, no facial hair except possibly a well-trimmed mustache and
must be between the ages of 40 – 50. Minor
role, only in the very beginning of the movie.
Uniform will be provided, so waist size must not exceed 34 in.
Sexy
Vampires: Most of these parts will
be filled by The Ohio Bikini Team, however, there is a need for a large number
of “extra” vampires. Age must be
between 18 – 25, and must be the drop-dead type of lady.
Again, these parts will require no sex and not even partial nudity.
However, be prepared to wear the sexiest outfits known to mankind.
